Do you do financial planning?

Do I have to be local to use you as my accountant?

We are an accounting firm that used the most up-to-date technology that allows us to work with you from anywhere. We can be your accountant even if we never get to see you face-to-face!

What is Vision Planning?

Vision Planning is a term coined by Ryan, Founder and Chief Visionary of BAC. He realized the value of goals, vision, and unity early in his corporate life career. What small business' often need the most help with is financial education. Vision Planning, while not truly education, is very educational. We work thoroughly to review your company's margins, sales revenue, etc. Next, we build goals to give us guidance, determine best return on investments (ROI) and marketing spend. The value of a vision plan goes years beyond the past and today...we look at the future!

What is the timeframe to get my taxes back?

Every person has unique tax environments they operate in. The returns with the most simplicity will tax anywhere from 4-14 days to complete, depending on your drop off schedule, and what tax deadlines are taking priority. We truly understand the need to get your taxes completed promptly, and make this our goal to get you taken care of before you have to ask!

Will you go over my taxes with me?

When setting up a tax appointment we have a few options, drop off, a face-to-face appointment or a phone conversation. The choice is yours, we meet you where you're at!

Are you available to me throughout the year or just during my tax appointment?

We are a year-round accounting firm, this means we are available to you for more than the one hour you pay for your tax appointment. You can call, text or email us or set up an appointment any time during the year!

What is a Tax Strategy?

At BAC, we believe in vision. Sometimes having a full blown vision plan isn't feasible. In those cases, we make a mini plan called a Tax Strategy. Instead of looking at taxes as always last years issue, or feeling like you are always behind, we look forward. A tax strategy forecasts the current year with planning, and the future year based on goals.

Can I send my tax documents in electronically?

Yes! We can take your documents in physical or electronic form. We have a fully secure option to upload your tax documents to us via our Client Portal app. If you are a new client, give us a call and we can get you set up! As a progressive CPA firm, we have taken automation, software, and accessibility to new levels and will continue to raise the bar. Being progressive means that we are constantly assessing our environment and adapting, so we can more promptly serve you.

How do I know my information is safe with you?

We adhere to the highest levels of security, required by our profession and by our governing agencies. Our computer systems are cloud-based and secured with HIPAA-level encryption by some of the largest software companies in the world. Security and privacy is our utmost priority, it's all part of having your BAC!

Do you have a web portal or a tool to make signing taxes easier?

When completing your taxes with BAC you can choose to come in and sign the physical copies of your tax return or we can send you your signature pages electronically to capture your signature. As a progressive CPA firm, we have taken automation, software, and accessibility to new levels and will continue to raise the bar. Being progressive means that we are constantly assessing our environment and adapting, so we can more promptly serve you.

How many times would I have to visit the office to get my taxes completed?

You can get your taxes completed with ZERO visits to BAC! We offer the ability to complete taxes 100% through our secure digital platforms. We use Google Meets to communicate in person via video feed, and a web-based portal tool to transmit data and sign taxes.

My Company is in financial distress, can you help?

Absolutely, this is one of our specialties! When working with BAC, do I deal with only one person?

We believe in having your BAC. Part of that process means we cross train our staff. Cross training means that when you call, you are taking care of. We have dedicated individuals in our payroll department to keep up with payroll changes, payroll administrative changes, and to manage each clients account. Our Implementation team supports accounting services, quickbooks support, and serve as the BACbone of your business. Ryan is the visionary, and his entire team works every day have to have our clients BAC.

What credentialing do you have and what does certified public accountant (CPA) mean?

Our Founder and Chief Visionary, Ryan Brinkman, has spent years in both public and private accounting developing a first hand understanding of the needs of business owners. Ryan's certifications include: Certified Public Account (CPA), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Essentially, the certification proves we have the knowledge and it's certified. Additionally, we adhere to continuing education requirements that constantly improve our skills and continue being certified. Ryan loves to expand his knowledge and grow his creative database to help clients be successful.
